Should the URL and blog name match? Yay or nay?

  I’m just starting out with my blog but all of a sudden a thought popped into my head that it might not be a good idea to have them different. Does it matter???

  They do not have to be the same. From an SEO perspective it’s better if they are. Title tags are definitely one of the “big three” as far as the algorithmic weight given to them by search engines; they are equally as important as your visible text copy and the links pointing to your pages – perhaps even more so. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/08/02/top-5-site-title-tag-tips/
