Should we be concern with Lighthouse Warning?
-
Hi all
I got two questions concerning WordPress
My site is currently hosted with WordPress.com1/ as we can see from the lighthouse result that the Performance Site is at 45 – which is a relatively weak score. While we are not able to use plugins. May I ask what are the other options we can explore to improve the performance of the site?
Or in one of the recommendation, it was said to reduce un-use css
may I ask if changing theme helps?2/ There 2 security issues highlighted by Lighthouse
Should we be concern?Thank you

Hi there!
It’s important to note that speed test sites measure the speed according to their own algorithms and it’s not a good idea to create your site just to score higher on those.
Some CSS and JS has to be rendered at the head of the page so that things would work correctly. It really is not an issue, but how some things work.As for the security issue, again, I wouldn’t worry about this. As your site is hosted on our platform, we take care of its security;
Let me know if you have any more questions regarding that.
