  Seriously! We need a compatible shoutbox for wordpress, everyone i know (especially me)wants one. It makes the blogger and the people communicate even better with a shout box

  If you’d like a shout box your best bet is probably to suggest it directly to staff via the contact form; they keep track of suggestions and every new voice helps.

  Have you had a look at the Meebo widget, though? I think that’s quite similar and might do what you want. It goes in your sidebar in Dashboard > Presentation > Widgets. Hope that helps.
