show author name in posts

  Hi I’m using Inuit Theme. In the sample page the author name is displayed. but when I activated it in my site it doesn’t display the author name in the post anymore. any thoughts about this?

  Here’s one of the sample page http://theme.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/inuit-types-featured-image-single-post.png. you can see that the post has its author name displayed. I thought I’d missed some settings only, but when I tried to use other themes, the appears again. I think only for this theme Inuit Type only.

  That’s an old screenshot, and WP has a mania for changing things all the time. If you check the theme demo now, you’ll see no author byline:
  http://inuittypesdemo.wordpress.com/

  Some themes (including Inuit Types) will only display the author byline if you’ve published at least one post by a second author.
