    I would like comments and replies to my post to appear on the same page as my posting at the moment their is just a link ‘comments’ at the bottom right hand corner. Is this tied up with the theme I am using. Thanks all. Paddy

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    It is not theme dependent. That is how blogs work.

    Comments appear only when you are reading a single post.

    Consider for a moment what your blog would look like if comments appeared under posts on your front page, and especially how it would look if you had 100 comments per post: readers would have to scroll for miles to get on to your next post!

    I need it too. Please 1tess do not explain me why you THINK we do not need it. It’s just a show of ignorance. ¿are you a developer?

    @ravensongpaddy The P2 theme offers comments on the front page.

    @luciotato Please re-frame from insulting other WP.com members it’s a fast way to have your replies deleted and have your post privileges revoke if you chose to continue with the insults.

    @luciotato
    The blog linked to your name is not a wordpress.com blog. As you don’t have a question to pose about a specific worpress.com blog for which you have posted the URL, one wonders why you posted at all — pot stirring?

    Anyone who thinks that all comment ought to be on their front page obviously has very few posts and very few comments. The ludicrous expectation that blogs to have mile long front pages with comment after comment on it and no way to collaspe them is indicative of those who have very little blogging experience. As Tess indicated above blogs don’t work that way. However, there’s nothing stopping anyone who wants this ridiculous form of display from hiring a web host and downloading a free wordpress.org install and hacking it to suit.
