Show entire outside Blog Post on WordPress Blog

  I have been asked to blog on another site. I would like my blog posts (not my comments) to show up on my WordPress site. I have looked at the support forums for information on pingbacks and trackbacks. I hate to admit I am completely confused on what I need and how to do it. I looked at the blog post I created on the outside blog- http://www.marinmommies.com/node/512 – and don’t see a link for trackbacks (if this is indeed what I need). What am i missing?

  Pingbacks and trackbacks won’t do it; those are just little notices that say “Hey, we linked to this!”

  What you want is straight up copy and paste; there’s no way to automatically load content from another site onto WordPress.com (too many crooks would use it to steal content). If the other site goes live at a certain, later time, you can always change the posting time of your own post on the right-hand side of the Edit Post page.

  Thanks raincoaster. So …is there some sort of etiquette to say on my own blog- as posted on blah.blah.blah , since people who see it there will follow (hopefully!) back to my own blog?

  I always say “cross-posted to XYX.com” and link to it there. Then on that site, do the same in the other direction.
