Show Excerpt for Password Protected Pages

    Hi

How do I show/make visible the excerpt for password protected pages if the visitor doesn’t have the password. Currently, my password protected pages say: There is no excerpt because this is a protected post.

I want to show the excerpt OR change what that text says.

    Thank you.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Tayyibaatwives – I don’t know the answer to the above, but you may know the answer to mine – how to password protect the post.

Could you point me in the right direction on to how to do this? And I’d gather from your response that it does NOT show an excerpt on the reader? (Which is ALSO what I’m looking for. I will invite select people to see it only.)

I appreciate any help you can provide.

    Sure!

From the web-admin site > pages > select your page > publish on right hand corner > visibility > password protected > type password > press okay > press update

Basically look for visibility settings and work from there.

    Hope that helps.
