Sure! I changed your account currency to GBP. You can upgrade to a WordPress.com plan by using the button below:

Hi. Thank you for making the currency change. I will be upgrading soon and may start with monthly Starter plan for a couple of months until I properly get going, then annual to Explorer. I have my own domain, so a guide for pointing it to this site would be helpful, and for email too. I’ve had this site for quite a few years but stopped posting in 2015… time to pick it up again and make a go of it! It’s a mental health blog, initially to engage readers, provide a site for relevant information and knowledge, and identify prospects for further engagement. I will be selling downloadables from this site including worksheets, ebooks, simple digital courses (I deliver mental health training off site). Guidance for setting all of that up would be appreciated. Also, how I would embed a quiz/assessment and capture details from it. I’m self-employed and this will be an additional income stream.
Thanks very much.

Hey there,
You are very welcome. Thank you for all the information on your site and what you would like to get set up! For starters, here is a helpful document for connecting or transferring your domain to use it with your site:

Hi, this is great! Thanks for all the information. Lots to digest here and I’m starting to work through and implement now.
You asked for more info about the quizzes. Ideally I would want people to be able to receive a score that would be accompanied by text. But my intention with it is to capture contact details for those who might be interested in more engagement/services.
Paid content block is likely best for the foreseeable future.
My current email server is Zoho, for a different domain. The domain I will be using here has not yet been set up for email with a server.
Plenty for me to get on with here! Thanks again for your help :)

Hi there,

Thanks for clarifying. It is possible to embed quizzes into your WordPress.com site through a free integration we offer through Crowdsignal. We cover this option here: https://wordpress.com/support/forms/polls/#embed-a-survey-poll-or-quiz-from-crowdsignal
This can be set so that the quiz-taker must enter an email address to take the quiz, and you will be able to collect these addresses as well as analyze the quiz results under your Crowdsignal account. The link I shared above is more of an overview, but you can see in detail how quizzes work here: https://crowdsignal.com/support/creating-a-quiz/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
