Show just the titles or first few lines of all posts?

Hi.
I want to show just the titles of all my posts or just the first few lines of my posts. Right now, you have to scroll down to get to the next post, and some posts are long, so it takes a while.
How do I do this?

Hi,
You can use the ‘More tag’. It splits up a post and only part of it will show on the homepage. A reader will need to click a link to read the entire post. Here’s the guide for that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/more-tag/ -
Hi Micawbr, OK great! (I was hoping that there would be a lazy way out that could just change the view of the post I’ve already made.) But that sounds like it will work.

I meant postS. Plural. If it had just been one post, I wouldn’t want a lazy way out. They are all long.
