Show local TIME ZONE

  Is there a way to show my local time zone on my blog?
  I know I can use General Settings to change the time, but it shows the time as UTC – London
  I want to show local time – EST/EDT

  If I can’t how can I suggest this to the guys on top?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can reset your date and timezone on your blog to reflect the timezone you actually live in. The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General
  Select the closest city to you in the same timezone you live in in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.

  Some blogs are designed to display the time and some are not.

  So if I want my blog to show my local time zone I have to find a theme that does that?
  Just want to make sure.

  Every blog here has a date and timezone setting at > Settings > General
  Some blogs are designed to display the time on the posts and some are not. You can reset your date and timezone on your blog to reflect the timezone you actually live in. The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General

  I’ve set my Timezone locally. My blog shows local time but it shows the timezone as UTC.
  I was looking under General Settings but there’s nothing there about a city.
  I’m trying to find a way for my blog to show the local time with the local timezone (EST/EDT)

  Do I have to change my theme to do that?

  No you don’t have to changes themes. You must, of course, be logged in under the exact same username that registered the blog and who is the Admin of the blog to change the setting.

  At Settings > General there is a drop-down menu and you select from that menu.

  Timezone [DROP-DOWN] UTC time is 2013-06-17 23:08:26
  Local time is …
  Choose a city in the same timezone as you.

  This timezone is currently in daylight saving time.
  Standard time begins on: November 3, 2013 2:00 am.
