Show my comments on someone’s blog AND my own?

If I share a lengthy response to someone’s post on their blog, and it has relevance to what I’m already writing on my own blog, what’s the best/most efficient procedure for reflecting that?
Do I copy/paste into a new post on my site? (But I would want to acknowledge someone else’s blog ‘inspired’ me to make that comment)
Is there a sidebar widget to show My Comments on various other blogs?
Should I start saying in the comment on someone’s blog “See my blog for a more detailed response?” – that one sound kinda bossy.

That last one will get you put into the Spam filter more often than not, actually.

Leave a comment in full on their site and if, within the comment, you want to reference something written elsewhere, put it in as a link. That goes even if it’s something you wrote. Do not over-use that, or you will get put into the spam file for self-promotion. And don’t generally use more than two links per comment or you’ll automatically get dumped into Spam.

If someone’s post inspires you to write a whole new post, then yes, you should certainly link to it.
