Show Only Latest Post on Main Page
-
I am in the midst of moving my current blogger site over to wordpress and want to continue with a few of the existing characteristics of the existing site, primarily – I want the main page to display the latest blog post (not the last 5, etc.).
So, in the end, I’d have the static page with the latest blog post showing below it.
I’m currently testing themes, but I have activated the Shoreditch theme and am unsure how to achieve what I want.
Appreciate any help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

For clarification, I can get it to show “one post” (apologies), but I want to show the entire post – not just the title. I should have been more clear.

@ fblsoftball,
I can get it to show “one post” (apologies), but I want to show the entire post – not just the title. I should have been more clear.
The homepage of https://fblsoftball.wordpress.com/ presently displays a static page. To switch back the default where it displays posts on the homepage, go to Customize > Static Front Page > Front Page Displays, and check “Your lastest posts.” Then save the change.

not just the title
I guess perhaps you are referring to the link to the “2016 – Week 9 Recap” post in the footer widget, which appears to be in a recent posts widget.
