Show only most recent post on front page

  I would like to modify my new blog so only my most recent post is shown on the front page. I changed the reading settings for “Blog pages show at most” to 1, but both of my posts are still being shown. I’m using the Twenty Ten theme. Any suggestions how to resolve this? Thanks.

  Ah, thanks for the reply. I’ve only just started using wordpress, so assumed it was something I was doing wrong, rather than something they’ve changed.

  Hopefully they will make this infinite scrolling optional….

  They are unlikely to do so. Do post a protest comment there and hope they will make it optional.
