Show only parts of post

    At my blog, would I have to edit the CSS to show how much of a blog post before you have to click on it? How would I do this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    No need for CSS, you can use the more tag to show less of your post on the main page and have readers click through to view the rest.

    Could you give an example?

    You can try the more tag for yourself with a draft post. Just do a preview and you’ll see how it looks.

    For your archives and categories pages (not the front page though):
    You also have the option of making custom excerpts with the Greyzed theme. You can make a special “blurb” or summary to get your readers interested in your post, including pictures, links and formatting (no shortcode) so they will click to view your actual post:

    Write your post as normal. At the section you want it to be cut on the main page insert the more tag as shown below in either regular and customised form.

    <!--more-->
    <!--more CUSTOM_TEXT_HERE-->

    Everything after that code will not be shown on the main page but clicking on the link will take readers through to the single post view where they can read everything. There are more details in the link I posted previously.
