Show Pages in sidebar but not on Header

Hi, is there anyway to show published Pages on sidebar (widgets) but not on the Header (with Home)?

I tested it out and it seems as though you cant. Away you can get around this is create a page and set it as “private”. Then go and copy that page’s url. Then create a text widget and manually create links to your pages.
The only issue would be that when someone goes to your page it will have the word “private” next to the title of that page. Butm who cares a page is a page :)

You would have to have the paid CSS upgrade in order to hide the top navigation, and it would hide the “home” button as well. The paid CSS upgrade is only recommended if you have experience with CSS.

Your other choice is to chose a theme without top navigation.

If you’re ok with at least one page in the header (for instance, the “About” page), then you can have other pages show in the sidebar only by assigning them to About as their “parent”: the header doesn’t display “child” pages. And in the Pages widget you can exclude About from showing in the sidebar.
