Show Post TITLES Only, Not Full Posts?

  I have a link on my sidebar to show all posts in the “Upcoming Events” category. But I don’t want the full posts to show: only the post TITLES. The [archive] short code comes close to what I want, but that can’t be limited by category.

  So it seems like I’m stuck: [archive] won’t work because it can’t limit by category, and the category page won’t work because it can’t be restricted to titles. Is there some clever solution that I’m missing?

  Chose a theme that displays post titles only:

  Category/archive pages: full posts or not

  Yes, I could use different theme. But that’s a pretty major change. Is there a way to do it and stick with Freshy?

  The only thing you can do is create a new page and manually add links to the relevant posts.
