Show Posts To Some Users Only
-
I would like to have the option that only certain users can view certain posts.
Eg: a non-logged in user sees the “public” posts, but a logged in user can search for “admin” and show posts that non-logged in users can’t see.
Is this possible? I’m looking at hosting WordPress on our server at work, rather than on WordPress.com. Would this be a better option?
Thanks

Probably since there should be some Plugin’s that would give you finer control on what individual users can see
Ask over at WordPress.ORG for recommendations, your account here will not work in their forums, so you might need to get a new account

A better answer would be yes, you may make specific posts private on WordPress or WordPress.com, accessible by password only. See Privacy Settings.
WordPress.org offers a wider variety of choices with various WordPress Plugins which control by user permission and “membership.”
