  Would be awesome to have a widget that shows similar (related) posts…

  It sure would and that’s why we have requested to have the advertising free Linkwithin widget for years now.

  Yes thank you, I already tried it. But it’s only working for english texts (my blog is in german). But thank you ;)

  If you configure Zemanta as a browser add-on it’s more customizable and can be set to collect ONLY posts from your own blog, or a few sites you designate.

  Actually awhile ago I discovered my two blogs were included in a secret test program without my prior notice and consent. I was pissed right off when I discovered the related posts links being displayed below my posts were links to posts in other bloggers blogs and not mine. I think we must be very careful about what we ask for lest WordPress.com Staff interpret it in a manner that includes the automatic posting of related links to WordPress.ORG installs below our WordPress.Com blogs. The parity choir who run their commercial sites and make their income on free hosted WordPress.ORG software have management and Staff tuned in.
