Show start of posts in widget

  Hi, I’d like to add a widget that shows the start of the latest posts. The posts are actually testimonials on my blog so I don’t want the post title to appear, but the actual beginning of the post. Thanks.

  If you don’t want to show the whole post of your but just a few lines of it, add “more” at the point till where you want to show it. I don’t think any widget available which you’re looking for.

  You could use a Text widget to do this.

  First you’d create the Post title link and the desired text in a draft post, switch to the HTML Editor, copy all the HTML code and then paste that into the Text widget.
