Show Summary not full text of an article – not working

  Hi, I selected the “Show Summary” option under the Reading section in the Dashboard, but still all my articles are showed fully.

  Is there any other option that perhaps contrasts with this functionality?

  That doesn’t change the display of the blog: it changes the display of the RSS feed. To change what displays on the front page of your blog, either switch to a theme that automatically truncates posts or use the More tag, the one on the Write Post page that looks like a dotted line crossing paper.

  Thank you Raincoaster for the reply!
  Unfortunately, it seems I dont have the More tag options in the New Post page…. Looks like a missing functionality in the theme I’ve choosen.
  Still, I dont like to change it, cause I feel like my viewers would get lost in seeing another layout and colours..
