Showcasing Creative Writing on a Personal Blog

What is the best way to showcase creative writing posts on a personal blog that is not focused on creative writing?

I have a personal blog on which I post personal updates, links, and things related to English for academic purposes (my vocation), but I also write creatively, and I’d like to showcase my creative writing pieces, without dedicating the entire blog to creative writing. I don’t have any plan to monetize the site. I blog for professional exposure, as a writing outlet, and as a model for students.

Creative writing is not completely unrelated to my topic (writing), but it’s tangential. As such, I’ve explored a few options–using categories with shortcodes to create separate journal/creative writing streams, using the portfolio option, setting up a separate blog, or even just incorporating the creative writing posts into the general stream and tagging them.

I understand there’s no best way to do this, but I’m interested to hear the advice of more experienced bloggers.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
