Show/Hide feature — can it be replicated on a free site?

  I would love to use a show/hide function on our concerts page so that I can hide the programme from the main view, but allow viewers to click through to it. Looks like the show/hide plugin i can’t use — is there a way on wordpress.com hosted free sites?

  did i mention i’m not a programmer? I’m bungling through html at the moment and can figure out the basics — cut and paste with clear instruction is even better! thanks in advance
