Showing article previews
-
I have searched around the dashboard and cannot find anything. Currently, if you go to my homepage ( http://www.leifandersen.net ), of my wordpress.com blog, you see my most recent posts, which is what I want. However, you see the entire post, rather than just the first paragraph or so. Is there any way I can set it to only show the first bit of my articles? Or is that something done with the themes, and thus I would have to buy the CSS upgrade? Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here’s the link to the wordpress.com support docymentation so you can book mark it. No you don’t need a CSS upgrade to split content using the more tag.
http://support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/Notes:
The split will not appear in “preview” mode but it will be there when you publish.
Do not inert the tag inside a blockquote. -
I’m sorry about the typos above – I’m having a bad vision day. The last note should read:
“Do not insert the tag inside a blockquote. ” -
Hmm…thanks. So that’s what that button does. I guess you learn something new every day. Thanks again for the speedy reply.
