Showing AUD prices for a domain, than being charged in USD
-
Its showing AUD$240 for the plan subscription, then when I go to make payment, its showing USD$240. That equals to about AUD$349!!! Thats a big difference! Why is it showing the same ‘price’ but being in different currencies, doesn’t make it the same price.

Hi there,
Your account currency is set to AUD, so the price you see on the checkout page should be in AUD, not USD. If you’re definitely seeing it in USD, can you take a screenshot showing where you see that and upload it to your media library for me?
Our Pro plan is currently priced at A$240 per year.
In USD the cost is $180 per year.

Hey there,
Thanks for your reply. I have uploaded a screenshot my the media library of it showing AUD on the plans page, and then USD on the payment page.
THank you for your help

Thanks for the screenshot.
Based on that it looks like it’s the Apple Pay dialog that’s showing the currency as USD. The WordPress.com checkout page visible under that box in your screenshot correctly shows the currency in A$.
So this might be an issue on Apple Pay’s end.
I’m reporting this to our developers to look into from our end.
I’ve also taken the liberty of deleting that screenshot from your media library – as it contains your partial credit card number and the name of your credit card provider, it’s best not to have it in the media library where search engines will be able to index it once you launch your site :)

Hi Jamie,
The issue that caused this should be fixed now. Can you please try checking out with Apple Pay again?
Please let me know if you still spot any weirdness.
