Showing Excerpt on password-protected posts

    Hi, as much as I have searched on the internet, I haven’t found any answers. I could not find any answers. How do I make the excerpts still visible to the public while the post is password-protected? I think excerpts should still visible to the public even the whole post is protected. Please help me.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    If the post is password-protected, the visitor can only view it by entering the password. I don’t think it’s possible without a plugin. And to install a plugin on your WordPress.com site, you need an upgraded Business Plan.

    Anyway, I’m adding a modlook tag to see if Staff can advise further.

    Hi there,

    As staff-zara already mentioned, this is not possible on WordPress.com hosted sites.
