Showing featured images in Escutcheon template mainpage

  Is there a way (custom CCS for instance) to show the featured image for an article (when it has one) on the mainpage of the Escutcheon template?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello @opsasto,
  If your theme supports Featured Images then you can enable it without using CSS.

  And it looks like your theme(escutcheon) does support features images. Please read the description on the theme page that has all the information you need to enable the featured images on your posts:

  Hi otpidusprime.

  Again thanx for the quick answer. I did get featured images working in the articles but not on the mainpage here: opsasto.blog

  As you suggested I looked at the documentation it seems feature image is only supported in single posts and pages beneath it and it looks like it excludes the mainpages.

  Okay, yes i tried out your theme and indeed as the them description says:
  Escutcheon supports large and prominent Featured Images on single posts and pages, beneath the post title
  It does not support on the main blog pages.

  Well that’s bummer. Because if it does not support on the main page there’s no way to add it even using custom CSS because it would require us to use custom PHP scripts to pull the featured images from each posts, and WordPress.COM does not allow us to modify the underlying PHP, JavaScript and HTML codes because this is a multi-user site where everyone is using and sharing the same underlying WordPress.COM software, so modifications to the underlying codes i mentioned would apply to all the users on this site.

  However, if you want you can always change the theme that supports the features images on the main blog page. Check out these themes: https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/featured-images/?sort=free, they support the featured images on the main page so find the one you like and make the switch.
