Showing More "Recent Posts"

I’d like to display more than the 20 most recent posts on my blog home page. I can’t figure out how to do this. Does anyone know how to change the setting so that more than the 20 most recent blog posts are displayed?

The site linked to your username is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog and if you are referring to it we do not provide support for WordPress.org installs that support ios here > http://wordpress.or/support/
If you are actually referring to a feee hosted WordPress.com blog and have accidentally linked the wrong site to your WordPress.com username then the Recent Posts Widget displays your most recent posts in your sidebar and there is no miximum numbers stated in the support documentation provided. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/recent-posts-widget/

Blog pages show at most__posts
to display more than a few very short posts leads to increased page loading time. It is not recommended that any blogger places 20 posts on a front page. Page loading time is a page ranking factor and visitors studies demonstarte if the site does not load fully in 3- 4 seconds visitors click out. You can psilt content in post by inserting “the more tag” and that will reduce page loading time.
