Showing my blavatar on Facebook

  Hi all,

  I want to launch my blog (the whole thing not just the most recent post) on Facebook.

  When I paste the URL into my status bar on Facebook, it just comes up with the name of the blog and a white square where the blavatar/blog icon should be.

  Could anyone help me – I would be so grateful!

  Hi there!

  I tried pasting your blog’s URL on my Facebook’s status bar and the thumbnail was the featured image on your March 28, 2015 post. You’re right that it should be your Blavatar because it’s always used when sharing your blog’s main page on Facebook.

  Please make sure that you have uploaded a Blavatar on that blog’s dashboard through your Settings -> General page here: http://thefoxandahound.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

  Here are some things you should take note of:
  – Blavatars look best if the image you’re using is square and at least 128 x 128 pixels in size.
  – If you recently changed your Blavatar, it may take a few hours before you see the new one. This is because of WordPress.com’s cache, but you can try clearing your browser’s local cache in case the Blavatar doesn’t refresh after a while.
