Showing post titles on my pager but enabling them to expand to the fgull text.

    Friends, How can I have my posted titles listed instead of having my page open up to the full text? I’d like to see the titles and then, when someone clicks on one of them, the text opens up. I’m new to this so I’d appreciate your assistance. As it works now, if I have three posts each five pages long, a reader must scroll thru ten pages to get to the beginning of the third post. I hope I’m clear on this. How do I set it up to show the titles with text to follow if requested? Thanx in advance! Richard at (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hello there,

    I’d like to see the titles and then, when someone clicks on one of them, the text opens up.

    You can insert “the more tag” into your posts on the first line of the body to achieve this.

    As it works now, if I have three posts each five pages long, a reader must scroll thru ten pages to get to the beginning of the third post.

    What I posted above does answer your question but in the case of lengthy posts you may wish to use “next page (pagination)” to split content within the posts into pages.
