Showing post’s page numbers on front page?
-
I was unable to find anything dealing with this specifically. If I split up a post into multiple pages using page breaks in the editor, there is no option for clicking page numbers on the main page with the sidebar, nor any indication that there are multiple pages. The page numbers are only seen on the direct link to the specific post. Am I missing something in options to have the page numbers be seen?

It’s basically my gameblog, I decided to move it here for a better look and easier image usage compared to where it used to be. However, previously I was able to separate my sections with line breaks, leaving whitespace, as it was typed in HTML.
I thought it would be convenient to separate each topic change into pages here, using the ‘next page’ page breaks, but going to the main page url above (which will be used the most, as many people link through a profile on a forum I frequent), the page numbers aren’t shown on the post.
I assume it’s just not able to be done and I’ll have to mess with excerpting or something; I was just hoping for something more convenient. :)

It has to do with the fact that pages aren’t part of a post. If you haven’t read it yet, you might want to look at the FAQ on posts and pages.
