showing text only on wordpress.com – please help!
-
Hello
I’ve tried searching but can’t seem to find the answer on this one, sorry.
Each time I try to login to my wordpress blog (drdolittle76.wordpress.com) from an office network, the site shows as text only. This is irrespective whether I try to login via http://www.wordpress.com or via the wp-admin.php URLs. However, when I type ‘https’ prefix in either of the URLs, the page then shows in full graphics. After about 5 minutes of use, the page then reverts back to text only and I repeat the https dance.
I’ve got my IT team trying to see if the problem is on their side but so far they can’t identify a problem. I’ve also tried the cookie dance, the temporary files dance and tried it from different machines dance (same problem occurrs).
The only lead we have so far is an error message – I’d be most grateful if anyone can help me make sense of what this error is saying?
Line: 613
Char: 3
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: http://wordpress.comThanking you in advance for any hints and tips you can throw my way.
Kind regards
DrDolittle76

Hi. Are you able to access the following URLs properly?
http://s0.wp.com
http://s1.wp.com
http://s2.wp.comIf not, it might be because those links are blocked from your computer at work (it happened to me once). Tell your IT department to unblock those URLs and see what they say.
