Hi! I’m new to word press, so expect a whole bunch of noob questions like this.
WHEN I am posting a new post, I would love it if my posts could be signed at the bottom with my name and picture. As it is, it just shows the name/date at the top in small text. How can I get more of a signature on this bad boy?

You can create your own text and signature image in a draft post and copy and paste it on the bottom of every post before publishing.
You can switch to using a theme that automatically provides an author profile and gravatar image at the bottom of every post. There is no up to date listing but you can see a partial list re: author bylines and author profile displayed or not here http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/author-displayed-or-not/ to find a theme that does not display an author profile.
