I want to shrink the size/appearance of a video. Not the mb size of the video, but its size on my blog. Help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, Dr. Dixon —
I see you have the VideoPress upgrade. Our player chooses your video’s dimensions based on your theme’s column width. However, you can specify the player’s width inside the shortcode. This is the code that is inserted into your Post/Page editor when you’ve added your video.
For example:
[wpvideo 6nd4Jsq7 w=640]
In this case, “w=640” signifies a width of 640 pixels.
You may set video width to a larger or smaller size, as long as it fits the width of your theme’s post column.
Hope this helps! Wishing you the best.

Robyn:
Thanks for trying to help me. I can’t figure out how to set the video width. The blog I was working on is found at: http://larrydixon.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=4015&action=editI appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks.

Hey Larry, One of the issues you’re having is with the video itself. As the video was shot vertically, rather than landscape, it’s not fitting your post well. I took the liberty of making the best adjustment I could to the video size, but I am happy to revert back to the original. Just let me know.
In the future, it will suit your layout better if you can shoot your video as it would be viewed on a movie or tv screen (landscape).
Please let us know if you have any other questions. All the best to you.

Thanks, Robyn. I appreciate your help. When I went to that post, it said you were still working on it. I don’t believe you answered my question about how to shrink the appearance of a (correctly shot!) video. Blessings. Larry

Hi there Larry, You’re very welcome.
I don’t believe you answered my question about how to shrink the appearance of a (correctly shot!) video.
I took the same action that I mentioned earlier in our conversation. I made dimensional adjustments to the embedded video file.
If you take a look at your post in the editor, you’ll see your video:
[wpvideo 0vHLvU4T w=300 h=480]
I changed it from the original:
[wpvideo 0vHLvU4T]
If you have the same size video in the future, you can add that code into your embed brackets.
Take care and thanks!

Thanks, Robyn. You’re the best.
I’m still waiting for the picture editor to allow me to choose no border for my uploaded pictures. (I preferred the old editor for pictures!) Blessings. Larry -
I know, Larry. There have been lots of growing pains with the new image editor! I’m sorry for the frustration. Here’s another code trick you can use to get rid of your borders in the meantime:
If you open up that Text editor again, you’ll see the html code that represents your image. Before the part of the code that begins src=, you’ll paste this code:
style=”border:0px”
So you’d have an example to work from, I added that code to one of your images. It’s in the Down Memory Lane! post. Take a look at the coding so you can see how to do this on your own.
You’re going to be a programmer by the time this is over!

It’s all about the money with you women, isn’t it? {Just kidding, Robyn!}
I’ll think about upgrading. (I can hear my dollar bills waving goodbye).
Blessings.

Ha! I actually was reluctant to suggest it, because I didn’t want you to feel pressured to buy anything! You take care, Larry! :)
