Shut down for importing old blog.

    My university is closing down their old blog system. I thought that I could import my old content (which predates my WordPress content) and it would show up as older posts. I got the email saying the import was successful, but when I clicked to see the result, I was told that my WP blog was closed for violating Terms of Service. I’m not sure exactly what ToS I’ve violated. The content was exactly the same sort of thing as my current blog. Since there was an importer for importing Moveable Type, it couldn’t have been that. I would at least like to return thing to where they were.

    There’s always the possibility that a mistake could have been made. But as it is WordPress.com policy that TOS issues aren’t discussed in these open forums you need to follow the link to the appropriate team found on the front page of that site or here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/suspended-blogs/ to get further advice.
