  How can I temporarily shut down my site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Making it ‘private’ would work:

  Dashboard > Privacy > Check: I would like my blog to be private, visible only to users I choose

  Anyone looking for your blog will find a login page, you control who gets the password.

  …are you running a free WP.com blog, or using their WP.org service? Either way it’s always a good idea to leave your URL when you’re in the forum.
