Shutterfly
-
Hello,
To prevent using up all my space, I am attempting to use shutterfly so that I do not have to insert the full picture. I have tried doing so, and it just shows up as gibberish when I previewed my blog. Any pointers?

Shutterfly uses Flash, which can only be added to WordPress.com by turning the embed into a Gigya code:

Does this help?

I messed around with it some more, and was able to embed it but then viewers have to click on the link in order to view picture. Is that how it is? Or is there a way to automatically view photo or is a click and view situation? If so, maybe i will just pay the extra to get more space…

Read what TT posted.
I’ve been blogging here for six and a half years and have only used up about 5% of my space. Are you optimizing your images before uploading them? That’ll make the biggest different.

Usually in a graphics program like Photoshop or a less expensive option like GIMP. You only need 72dpi for web images; any higher resolution won’t be displayed on the monitor.
