Shutting down sites
-
I have two different accounts on WP and paid $18 for each to customize my domains. I would like to close both of those sites and end my subscription/payment (so it won’t renew for another year.) I was looking to delete those sites but saw a note about how domain managers still need to be accessible so the site can’t be delete and I’m not sure what that means. I can make the site private instead of deleting it but I just don’t want to keep getting charged.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Alexandra!
I see one custom domain (aweebitcrafty.com) on your current account (alexandraweee). If you would like, you can disable auto renew from your Upgrades page here:
https://aweebitcrafty.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades
That will ensure that you will not be charged going forward. Then, the domain will eventually expire and be removed from your account (you won’t be charged).
Could you let me know the URL of the other domain you’re referring to?

Hi Jeremey,
Thanks so much! I’ve disabled auto renew for aweebitcrafty. I have another site under (email visible only to moderators and staff) (alexandralcwee.com). Should I do the same thing for this site?
Thank you!

Hey Alexandra!
Yep! If you disable the auto renew for that other domain, you won’t be charged going forward from WordPress.com.
Please let me know if you need anything else.
