shutting down team spectre account and web site

Someone has built an entirely new site for us and is maintaining it in wix. We no longer need the wordpress site. If I use the delete website account in the account settings, will that delete everything and close out our account? While we are running on the bare minimum free account with wordpress, there is no point in continuing to hold onto the name. The new site editor prefers wix, so we will remain there. our actual domain is registered through go daddy, we just repointed it to the new platform. Thank you

I’m happy to help. In general, yes, you can delete the free .wordpress.com where your custom domain used to point to us at. Now it’s pointed to wix instead. There’s likely no connection unless someone set up a redirect. In that case you wouldn’t want to delete the free .wordpress.com site.
Could you share the actual domain / site in question here so I can take a good look.
There hasn’t been any domains mapped to this account that you are posting from.
