  Please how do I activate the sidebar on the Gateway theme

  Hi,

  The sidebar widget area doesn’t need to be activated. It’s already present on your static pages such as “About” and “Contact.” It will not appear on the front page with the Homepage Template assigned because there’s no room for it. Neither will it appear on a page assigned to the Full-Width template.
