  I do not wish to have a sidebar, and because of that, I deleted all my widgets. However, a sidebar still shows on my site. How can I remove this?

  Thanks for writing to us.

  The widgets can be removed and customized in that sidebar but it’s not possible to simply eliminate the sidebar all together since it is built in to the theme. My suggestion, is to use the featured content option for this theme which will push the sidebar widget space down below the fold.

  Another consideration is to look at the site on mobile view as that is how the majority of folks are going to visit your site.

  The sidebar would be a great space to add any upcoming events or link any other media you may own or be featured in like a podcast as it’s prominently displayed but not so much “in your face”. If you have work available for sale, this could be a good space to link that too.

  With this theme the content can be featured center on the page with out heavy modification or needing to upgrade your hosting plan with us.
