Side Bar Backround

  I need help with my website. I have the Digg 3 Column Theme. I would like to add colors to my sidebar or a backround. I added a backround to it but it did not fill the whole sideBar. Can anyone help me with this? I mostly want to add a backround. But if that does not work i would like to fill the sidebar with a color.

  When backgrounds are applied to the sidebar element, they will only be repeated down as far as the bottom of the last widget. To get it to go all the way down, you would have to have it as a repeat-y background image in #page.

  And actually if you want just a color for the sidebars, you can change the background color for #page and that will do it.

  #page {background: none no-repeat scroll 0 0 red; }

  If you mean for a background image, use the following.

  #page {background: url("URL_of_image") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; }
