SIDE BAR CATEGORY WIDGET NOT WORKING
-
Why are my posts not categorized in the side bar the same way as I listed them (some are as sub items of main categories)? I ticked the settings so that it says “show hierarchy” but it does not categorize them as I did. In the custom menu they are listed as I wish and sub units work. The name of my site is: http://www.50odtenkov.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s because those categories that you want to have as subcategories aren’t actually subcategories. For example, you want Birdman to be a subcategory of Film. But Birdman exists as a main category. You can force Birdman to appear to be a subcategory in your custom menu but it isn’t really a subcategory.
Go back into your WPAdmin Dashboard and go to Posts > Categories. Edit Birdman and make the parent Film. Then I believe it will appear the way you want in your sidebar widget.
