Side bar in Modularity Lite

The sidebar is behaving strangely in my customized Modularity Lite. It only appears as a real sidebar, ie, on the side part of the site, when my browser is considerably zoomed in (ctrl +++). When I zoom out (ctrl -) to normal levels, the so called sidebar appears in the very bottom of the blog, below the last post. Any idea on how to solve this problem? Any code for CSS editing?
(I saw that someone else recently asked the same question but the problem was not solved)
    Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You need to contact staff on this because even the unmodified theme has this problem. It is not something you did, and I’m not entirely sure how to fix it via CSS.

    Contact

Moderators, could you move this to the themes forum since this is a problem with the standard theme. Thanks.

A note for the theme team. If you do zoom out (ctrl – -) the sidebar goes to the bottom of the page. Zooming in, at least for me does not cause the sidebar to go to the bottom of the page, just zooming out.

I was loving the Modularity theme until I discovered the sidebar issue. Namely, the sidebar appears at the bottom of the page. Oddly, on published “pages” the sidebar appears in the correct place (on the right-hand side). But on published “posts” it appears at the bottom of the page. Additionally, this only happens in some browsers. On my PC, everything is just peachy — sidebar on the right in both posts and pages. But on my laptop and on other PCs I’ve tried, the sidebar appears as described above (at the bottom of the page on “posts” and to the right on “pages”). I sure would love to see this issue corrected.
