side bar not extending down to the footer

    Hello,

on by customized them, I am trying to get the right side bar (the dark blue one) to extend down to the footer, and be even with the content block.

The blog in question can be found at:
    http://inspired-evolution.com/wordpress/

and the CSS is at :http://inspired-evolution.com/wordpress/style.css

I am using the faux column technique, where you take an image, set it as a background and set it to repeat vertically, normally this will extend the length of your container, but in this case, it does not :-(

    any suggestions?

Actually, it probably does extend to the length of the container. As the containers (main content and sidebar are separate containers) are generally set to the height of the content then the background will stop at the end of the content.

Due to the nature of the content being variable depending on the length of the blog posts, I don’t think there’s an easy way to define the height of the two containers so they match.

One of the “gurus” may be along a little to prove me wrong though!

I can’t open a new window here but it’s moot. The poster is hosted elsewhere, running different software, and needs to be over at http://wordpress.org for support I’m afraid.

Friendly reminder that reading a sticky labeled “please Read Me First Before Posting” is always a good idea. :)

Well before you go if you are using the faux column technique you have applied the tile in the wrong container. it needs to be in #rap or similar.
