side bar won't display

  Hello, I have the ideation and intent theme and although the sidebar is populated with widgets which I have saved they do not show on the site. I have tried tutorials. Any suggestions?

  In your theme, the sidebar is not displayed on single posts or pages.

  Since you only have single pages and have no selected a blog page at Settings -> Reading, the sidebar will never appear.
