  HI, I’m so new to all of this so can anyone help me put a sidebar menu into my blogsite? I am utilizing the wordpress theme Birch

  This site is not hosted on WordPress.com so I do not have access to it.

  You’ll be able to find help at wordpress.org/support/

  There are 2 different versions of WordPress. What we do at WordPress.com is a bit different from using the WordPress installation with a hosting company. See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  I would suggest reducing the file size of the background image on the site. It took quite a while to load the site and I suspect that is the cause.
