Side Blog | Creating an additional/side blog and link

  I have my main blog at http://notjustcricket.com. I have domain mapping.

  One of the categories under this blog is -Photography-

  I would like to carve that category out and set it’s own blog.

  1. Can I do this? How?

  2. Would it be possible to assign a url which shows a connection to my main blog. Along the lines of photos.notjustcricket.com or pictures.notjustcricket.com? How?

  I don’t think that’s easily possible.

  Sure, you can create another blog easily enough just by registering for it on the wp.com homepage but getting a domain pointer to it is going to be some work and may involve paying a second fee, unfortunately.

  Thanks cornell,

  I have about 15 entries which I would like to move to my new -photo-centric- blog. Any easy way to do that besides copy and paste?

  I was hoping to find a way from inside the Dashboard, since both my blogs show there. Haven’t been able to crack that.

  Good luck. It shouldn’t be too painful if you have two windows open. You’ll also have to re-tag them; that’s the part I find annoying.
