side by side images- layout issues for months
-
I am so beyond frustrated with your company at this point and its poor layout issues and having absolutely no help to fix them. I am a photographer and simply want to post images side by side. (2 rows as large as I can get the images) Why is that so difficult for your program to do correctly?? I have spent days on several posts and nothing i try allows for the layout i am trying to achieve. Please for once help me. None of your “quick help topics” are of any use whatsoever so please don’t send me to a pre worded message that is completely useless.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry that you have been having issues for months.
Please review the Galleries instructions.
What you are asking isn’t normal behavior, so it is requires a couple extra steps and some HTML familiarity.
The easiest way is to create a gallery, even if it is for two images, with the images set to 2 columns.
If you wish to set the images yourself and not in a gallery, then in the Attachment Details for each image, set the alignment to NONE and the LINK TO to Attachment, and set the size to medium or something that will not stretch the full-width of the column and allow room for both images to sit “comfortably” next to each other.
Do the same for the other image.
Switch to the TEXT editor for the post or Page and ensure that both image HTML tags are on the same line. No spaces or line breaks between them.
If this works right, the images will sit right next to each other.
If they crowd each other, then add the following styles within the HTML image tags per this example:
<a href="http://link-to-attachment/" title="Link to attachment image."><img style="margin:5px;" src="http://link-to-image-here/" title="Photography by Shutterwild." alt="Image of pretty picture by Shutterwild." class="alignnone" /></a>The styles are in the “style=””” section that you add to the image. This will add a 5px space around the entire image. You may change that to something more or less to add whitespace around the image.
I hope this helps. Again, this is not a standard request as you are doing something few do. This is also content and has nothing to do with the core programming and features of the site.
