side margins of whole page set to full-screen width

    My blog uses Andrea, which gives me full-screen width, content as well as header, and invisible page to allow for a dark photo background and artsy light-colored typeground. Went to studiopress for domain, bought Genesis/Prose theme which acted like a fuller, richer Andrea, only to find out that the side margins would not stretch out to fill the screen and give me maximum writing space. Don’t understand why there aren’t more themes that do away with the wasted space at either side of a blog page. How can I get the complexity and option of Prose, with the full-screen use of Andrea? Need artsy photos highlighted large, with enough space left over for text wrapped around each one. Any recommendations for a theme will be gratefully accepted.
