Side Panel Links Disappeared
-
I just published a new post and noticed that the panel with all my pages, links, blogroll, etc. that used to appear on the right side is now missing when I view the site. They still exist in my dashboard since I haven’t changed them or changed the theme. What’s causing this?

Did you copy and paste text from somewhere else into a blog post? Did you insert an image that was too large for the blogging space into a post?

Every blog has a default display of widgets and when we go here > Appearance and move any of them our choices override the default display. See > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/09/28/the-no-widgets-paradox/
The questions I asked all pertain to the most common reasons sidebars either fall to the bottom of the blog (malformed HTML from copying & pasting or oversized images in posts that break the layout), or the no widgets paradox.

Found the problem on my end. Following your messages I went back and checked my post.
I had not originally copy and pasted anything, just entered text and inserted a couple new images using the Visual editor, then previewed the post and saw that the subtitles on the images got merged somehow, and the 2nd image did not appear at all. I then edited the post in HTML but missed some stray div text left behind. I cut that out, previewed it, and the panel now appears like it’s supposed to.
Thank you.
